Welcome to the world wide web and chatting online. If you are new to online chatting, this is your opportunity to become chat saavy. We all know that fast, global communication has become a priority. As a result, there is an online vocabulary that has been developed which is very different from how we talk to each other every day. The internet chat world is run by acronyms (using the first letter of each word as a way to represent an entire phrase), abbreviations (short forms of words) and symbols.

Here is a list to get you chatting faster than the speed of speech!
